We believe that discipleship happens best in the context of a small group environment!
therefore we are committed to small groups throughout our entire church ministry!
Small groups are everywhere at Crossroads - from our children’s and youth ministries, to our adult ministries, and even in our ministry teams. Why? Because we believe that when we get “out of the rows” we are sitting in, and move “into circles”, that’s when we begin to do life together!
For our adults, we call these small group environments Community Groups.
Community Groups allow us to circle up, develop meaningful relationships, dig into God’s Word, and do life with one another. We enter into community with one another.
life is better connected!
We are called to “one another, one another” by Jesus himself! Here are just a few examples:
John 13:35 “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Romans 12:10 “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves”.
Did you know - there are over 60 different “one anothers” in Scripture?
We are called to do “Community”!
We want the culture of Crossroads to be all about being in small groups. If you aren’t involved in a small group while at Crossroads yet, then the question is, “Why not”? We believe being involved in a Community Group is THAT important!
