God does not desire for Christians to be "Lone Rangers" in their faith nor to simply live a self serving faith. We are designed to do life together, serve one another and love one another as we pursue following Jesus. The Church is people, not a place. As the Church, we are called to consider the example of Jesus as we love Him and others (Philippians 2:1-8). Our adult ministries are purposeful and intentional environments which help connect us to one another as we pursue following Jesus more fully. We believe discipleship takes place best in small groups. Therefore, many of our adult ministry environments are designed with small groups in mind.
Here is a brief description of our most common adult ministries:
Community Groups - These are designed to be the primary consistent environment for our adults to connect with one another. Groups meet weekly or bi-weekly for an agreed-upon time frame. Members study and apply God's Word to life, care for one another and serve our community side by side as they do life together. In committing to a group, each person is asked to show up, join in and be real. Life really is better connected!
Target Groups - These are short-term groups (typically 6-10 weeks) designed to target a specific biblical study or life topic from a biblical perspective. Groups meet Sunday mornings and are a great way to get connected with other believers and be encouraged to live for Jesus.
Men's and Women's Bible Studies - Our men's and women's ministries are each designed to draw together adults of the same gender to pray, study and apply God's Word, serve together and build friendships.
