Hebrews presents Jesus as better—better than angels, Moses, the Law, and the priesthood. Written to encourage believers under pressure, it shows how Jesus is the perfect High Priest who mediates a new and better covenant through His once-for-all sacrifice. The book calls readers to hold fast in faith, draw near to God with confidence, and persevere, fixing their eyes on Christ, the fulfillment of God’s promises.
